Privacy Policy

FIZZEEK collects the following data to provide the workout tracking experience:

• Workout progress (exercises completed, sets, reps, weights, times)
• Personal records (PRs) and performance history
• App preferences (theme, rest days, display settings)
• Phone number or Google account (for authentication, when available)

We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or any data unrelated to your fitness tracking.

Your workout data is stored locally on your device using browser storage (IndexedDB and localStorage). This means your data stays on your device and is not transmitted to external servers unless you enable cloud sync.

When cloud sync is enabled (future feature), your data will be stored securely in a Google database to allow cross-device access. Data in transit will be encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

FIZZEEK integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Sign-In — for account authentication. Google may collect data per their privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — for typography. Font files are loaded from Google servers.
• Spotify — for workout playlist links. No Spotify data is collected by FIZZEEK.

FIZZEEK does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics services. We do not track your browsing behavior across other websites or apps. localStorage is used solely for app preferences and workout data.

You have the right to:

• Access your data — all workout data is viewable within the app
• Delete your data — clear your browser/app data to remove all stored information
• Export your data — data export functionality is planned for a future update
• Opt out of any future data collection features

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information is collected and how it is used
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale of personal information — FIZZEEK does not sell personal data
• Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

For users in the European Union, FIZZEEK processes data on the lawful basis of consent. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below.

FIZZEEK is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Local data is stored within your browser's sandboxed storage. When cloud sync is available, all data transfers will use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.2+).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of FIZZEEK after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
